This year’s Coloured Vinyl Campaign and National Album Day brings the release of a new coloured vinyl reissue of Mumford & Sons first studio album, Sigh No More. Originally released back in 2009, Mumford & Sons were instrumental in propelling the uprise of folk rock music into the popular music scene. The album peaked at No.2 in the UK and US charts, after the phenomenal win of Album of the Year at the 2011 BRIT Awards. The album has sold over a million copies in the UK and over 3 million in the US, making it x6 Platinum BPI certified in the UK and x3 Platinum in the US. Sigh No More includes some of Mumford & Sons highest globally streamed singles, the first being ‘Little Lion Man’ which has had nearly 45M streams this year alone, alongside ‘The Cave’ achieving over 20M this year to date.
