Vengono inoltre rese disponibili le versioni dei rispettivi singoli 12 Bizarre Love Triangle, State Of The Nation e Touched By The Hand Of God con i corrispondenti b-side. Brotherhood è il quarto della serie di cofanetti Definitive in edizione limitata che include Movement (2019), Power, Corruption and Lies (2020) e Low-Life (2023).
Scritto, registrato e prodotto dai New Order, Brotherhood fu originariamente pubblicato tramite Factory Records nel settembre 1986 e raggiunse il numero 9 nella classifica degli album del Regno Unito. Questa nuova raccolta per Brotherhood include l’album rimasterizzato su vinile e CD e 2CD che contiene 9 brani inediti e demo da una sessione di registrazione in Giappone nel 1985 e un 2DVD con esibizioni dal vivo della Brixton Academy (1987), G-Mex Manchester (1986), Glastonbury e programmi TV dal Regno Unito e dall’Europa, tutti precedentemente non disponibili su DVD.
