Dal 1953 al 1956, il trombettista Buck Clayton ha registrato una serie di sessioni per Columbia insieme ad alcuni dei più grandi maestri dello swing come Joe Newman, Ruby Braff, Urbie Green, Coleman Hawkins, Buddy Tate, Billy Kyle, Freddie Green, Walter Page e Jo Jones. Questo cd riunsice due dei migliori album tratti da quelle sessioni: “Jumpin ‘at the Woodside” (Columbia CL-701) e “The Huckle-buck and Robbins’ Nest” (Columbia CL-548).
