Nell’ambito metal l’Islanda è famosa per gruppi estremi come SÓLSTAFÍR, KONTINUUM e AUDN, ma anche per giovani rocker classici come i THE VINTAGE CARAVAN. I POWER PALADIN, nati a Reykjavík nel 2017, sono la prima e unica band power metal islandese. Il sestetto, influenzato dalla letteratura fantasy e dai grandi dell’heavy metal degli anni ’80 e ’90 come EDGUY, RHAPSODY, HELLOWEEN e BLIND GUARDIAN, ha un certo tocco glam e ama cavalcare alla massima velocità tra foreste magiche, castelli e draghi sputafuoco. La band suona un power metal iper-melodico, veloce, ma al tempo stesso orecchiabile, il tutto all’insegna del divertimento! Il futuro del power metal è nelle mani dei POWER PALADIN!
