AVID Jazz presenta quattro classici album di Marty Paich, finemente rimasterizzati con note di copertina originali su un doppio CD: “Revel Without A Pause”; “Marty Paich Trio”; “The Broadway Bit” e “I Get A Boot Out Of You”. Nel primo album Paich è impegnato al pianoforte e affiancato da Stu Williamson al trombone, Jack Sheldon e Dan Fagerquist alle trombe, Buddy Clark al contrabbasso e Mel Lewis alla batteria. Per la successiva registrazione in trio Paich ha voluto invece al suo fianco Red Mitchell al contrabbasso e Mel Lewis alla batteria.
