Nel 2012 Ms Keys ha pubblicato l’album Girl On Fire, vincitore di un Grammy Award. La canzone che dà il titolo all’album e il singolo principale, l’universalmente acclamato “Girl On Fire”, è stato un successo mondiale (oltre 600 milioni di stream). L’album include anche “Fire We Make” (con Maxwell), “New Day” e “Brand New Me”.
