Questo album riunisce due cantautori, entrambi pianisti, che hanno dato un notevole contributo all’opera e alla carriera del e alla carriera del Re. Mentre Otis Blackwell eccelleva nel rock ‘n’ roll, di cui è stato uno dei grandi artefici (fornendo a Elvis non meno di tre successi (fornendo a Elvis non meno di tre hit numero 1), Don Robertson, d’altro canto, era un maestro nell’arte della della ballata (molte delle sue composizioni sarebbero apparse sulle lati B di singoli di successo). Due artisti eccezionali che meritano un posto nel Pantheon della musica!
