Non del tutto contento di essere un stella dell’ R&B negli anni Cinquanta, grazie al successo del suo brano “Lawdy Miss Clawdy”, Price decise di sperimentare una rilettura in chiave rock & roll del blues tradizionale registrando una serie di splendidi album per l’etichetta ABC-Paramount. Questo cd raccoglie due dei suoi migliori album: “Sings the Million Sellers” (1961) e “The Fantastic Lloyd Price” (1960).
