Questo cd riunisce due album classici di Ray Anthony, uno dei più grandi direttori di big band jazz: “Young Ideas” e “Moments Together”, entrambi registrati da Ray e la sua orchestra nel 1957. “Young Ideas” è caratterizzato dalla presenza di quattro violoncelli che si affiancano all’orchestra, mentre “Moments Together” vede la partecipazione di un gruppo vocale. Come bonus sono state aggiunte due rare tracce, “Cello-Phane” e “The Lonely Trumpet”, che sono state registrate durante le stesse sessioni ma sono originariamente state pubblicate solo come singoli.
