Questo doppio CD raccoglie tutte le sessioni registrate dal cantante Joe Williams e dal trombettista Harry “Sweet” Edison in piccole formazioni. Oltre a queste sessioni, le loro uniche registrazioni insieme consistono in un album in big band (incluso qui come un bonus) e altre partecipazioni su un paio di progetti nel 1971 e nel 1996. Sono inclusi in questa raccolta gli album completi “Together” (Roulette SR52069), “Have A Good Time With Joe Williams” (Roulette SR52071) e “A Swingin’ Night at Birdland” (Roulette SR-52085). Come bonus, abbiamo aggiunto una versione di “If I Could Be With You”, che è l’unica canzone che vede insieme Williams e Edison sull’album “Memories Ad-Lib” di Count Basie, così come l’LP completo Joe Williams Sings About You!
