Tutti gli artwork dei CD sono nuovi e realizzati appositamente per questo nuovo cofanetto da Richard Evans, le note bio discografiche sono state scritte da Matt Kent e c’è anche una nuova intervista esclusiva a Pete Townshend + rare foto e memorabilia. Tra le curiosità delle performance live: la presenza di David Gilmour come ospite dei Pete Townshend’s Deep End alla Brixton Academy di Londra nel 1985, l’album ‘Psychoderelict’ riproposto interamente alla Brooklyn Academy of Music di New York nel 1993, il tour solista del 1996 testimoniato da uno show al Fillmore di San Francisco, due serate registrate al Sadler’s Wells Theatre di Londra con musica tratta da ‘Life House’, unica volta in cui venne proposto il progetto ‘Life House’ dal vivo e i due show del 2001 a La Jolla Playhouse di San Diego, lo stesso luogo dove anni prima venne proposto ‘Tommy’ in versione musical prima di spostarsi a Broadway. Da ricordare che i CD venduti singolarmente dal sito Eel Pie sono rapidamente diventati collector’s items e che questa è l’occasione per ribadire le parole dell’archivista di Who e Townshend Matt Kent: “Quando Pete Townshend si esibisce dal vivo non è solo un concerto, è un EVENTO. Questi CD sono la testimonianza della grandezza di questi eventi”.
