SHANKAR FAMILY & FRIENDS è l’album del musicista indiano Ravi Shankar registrato a Los Angeles durante la primavera del 1973 e pubblicato solo verso la fine del 1974. Il disco è stato prodotto dall’amico George Harrison ed è stata una delle prime pubblicazioni con l’etichetta Dark Horse. Rimasto fuori catalogo per molti anni, viene rimasterizzato per la prima volta nel 2010. L’album viene ristampato in formato CD e vinile orchidea.
